So often as women, we are too busy fulfilling the many roles we occupy that we put our values, needs, and desires on the backburner. I can help you through that work to get back in touch (or in touch for the first time!) with your values and what’s important to you. Whether you’re juggling the many facets of motherhood (trying to get pregnant, having a difficult pregnancy, struggling postpartum), going through a difficult life transition, grieving any kind of loss, struggling with depression or anxiety, I’m here to help find a way forward. I use components of Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-Focused Therapy, and mindfulness approaches to help tailor a plan to fit your needs. I have a PMH (Perinatal Mental Health) certification from Postpartum Support International to treat perinatal mental health challenges.
I received my undergraduate degree in psychology and a Master’s in Social Work from Ohio State University. I’ve spent the last 12+ years as a clinical social worker in every level of care. I’m building my practice after working in different health systems for the last several years, so there are immediate openings! In my spare time, I love hanging out with my husband and our two girls, reading, writing, and staying connected with family and friends.
